Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive nutritious meals and exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
As a Dietary Aide at Dunmore Health Care Center, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals to residents, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are considered
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Assisting residents with menu planning and making accommodations for special dietary needs
- Providing excellent customer service to residents, their families, and staff members
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assisting with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Collaborating with the dietary team to develop and implement menu plans
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience working in a dietary or food service setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
