Job Description: HVAC Installer
Mike's Heating & A/C Service is a reputable company that has been serving customers in Picayune, Mississippi for several years. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Installer to join our team.
As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining HVAC systems for both commercial and residential properties. From replacing or repairing equipment to performing routine checks and inspections, your attention to detail and ability to work independently will assist us to exceed customer expectations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, wiring, and controls.
- Replace or repair defective equipment, such as compressors, coils, motors, or controls.
- Perform maintenance on systems, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections.
- Ensure that all work complies with industry standards and local code requirements.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and explaining technical issues.
- Identify opportunities for upselling service or equipment to customers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical school preferred).
- At least two years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
- Proficient knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
