As a trusted fixture in the Pine Bluff, Arkansas community, we're looking for an experienced and skilled HVAC installer to join our team.
As our HVAC Installer, you'll be responsible for performing installation jobs on a variety of residential and commercial heating and cooling systems. You'll work closely with our team of technicians and project managers to ensure that jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and according to established standards. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals to guide work
- Perform sizing calculations to ensure proper system performance and efficiency
- Install and connect electrical wiring and controls according to local and national codes
- Test and verify system operations to ensure proper function and safety
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as required
Requirements:
- 2+ years of HVAC installation experience
- Completion of HVAC certification or relevant training program
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights as needed
- Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- EPA certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment
