Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
We are N.E.W Plumbing & Heating, a trusted and established company serving the Warsaw, Indiana community for years. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of HVAC equipment and continue your professional development through training and hands-on experience.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to service calls and performing routine and emergency repairs
- Conducting preventative maintenance and service on HVAC systems
- Installing new HVAC equipment and ensuring proper functioning
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system issues
- Communicating with customers about their HVAC system needs and providing excellent customer service
In addition to having strong technical skills and knowledge of HVAC systems, we are looking for someone who embodies our values of professionalism, integrity, and customer service. You must be able to work effectively independently as well as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- HVAC certification or relevant experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
