Job Title: Welder Job Description This role is a MIG welding role. You will be responsible for setting up all material for the weld, following a blueprint or work instructions to complete the weld, and welding everything together. You will be welding on material up to 1/2 inch thick, including flat, vertical, and horizontal positions. Responsibilities include performing multi-pass welds (up to 3 times) primarily on steel material and executing a lot of tack welds. Initial tasks will include tack welding until fully trained in all processes. As you demonstrate more skill, you will handle more complex welds. Hard Skills Blueprint reading MIG Welding Basic Math Work Site This is a fully on-site position in LA PORTE, Indiana. Work Environment Hours: Day shift, Monday - Friday, 5 AM - 1:30 PM. You may start by adding on 1-2 hours during the week. The company aims to give the team weekends off. The work environment is a smaller shop with roughly 35 people in the plant.
