Ridgecrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking experienced Dietary Cooks to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving palatable, nourishing, and well-balanced diets to meet the daily nutritional and special dietary needs of each resident. You will also assist in the dishwashing operation and cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve palatable, nourishing, and well-balanced diets for residents
• Meet daily nutritional and special dietary needs of each resident
• Assist in dishwashing operation and cleaning tasks

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prefer one-year experience as a Dietary Cook in a Long Term Care food service setting
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and staff members
• Safe food handling certification required
