Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing general housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Ensuring all surfaces are clean, dust-free, and disinfected.
• Maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and notifying the supervisor when inventory is low.
• Sorting, washing, and folding laundry items according to established procedures.
• Distributing and collecting resident laundry.
• Operating and maintaining laundry equipment.
• Complying with all safety and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Prior experience in housekeeping and laundry, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning and laundry techniques.
• A strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
