Job Description
Friendship Village Of Dublin is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Security Officer - As Needed. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our residents, staff, and visitors. This is an as-needed position, providing flexibility for those looking for occasional work or seeking supplemental income.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols of the community grounds, monitoring security systems, and responding to any security incidents or emergencies. You will also be responsible for enforcing community policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the community grounds to deter and detect any suspicious activity
- Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and access control systems
- Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents or emergencies
- Assist in the enforcement of community policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and visitors
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in security or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of security procedures and practices
- Ability to remain calm and act swiftly in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
