In this role, you will need to organize and maintain the medical records (health information) system in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, and to perform a variety of tasks that support the delivery and documentation of patient and resident care.

What you need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years secretarial/clerical experience, or Associate Degree in a related field of study, or a minimum of 2 years college-level coursework
• Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
• Must be detail-oriented, possess good organizational skills, and be self-directed
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints and work on several projects simultaneously
