HVAC Service Technician

Location: Astoria, Oregon

Plum-Air, a leading provider of HVAC and plumbing services with two convenient locations in Hazle Township and Shavertown, PA is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Astoria, Oregon. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of HVAC systems and equipment for our diverse client base.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including but not limited to heating and cooling systems, air handling units, heat pumps, boilers, chillers, and ventilation systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment and systems to identify root causes of issues
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient and safe operation
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Keep accurate records of work performed and obtain customer signatures on completed work orders
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Certification or associate degree from an HVAC program or related field
- At least 2-5 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
