Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Jacob Heating & Air Conditioning
Jacob Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a qualified HVAC Service Technician to join our team of professionals in Portland, Oregon. We are a fast-growing company with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients' HVAC systems are operating at peak performance.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair HVAC systems (including but not limited to: air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems
- Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems
- Provide excellent customer service to every client
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget
- Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years experience in HVAC service
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical systems, and plumbing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
