Flower Farm Hand (Part Time & Seasonal)

About the Company

Bloomed Life & Utah Flower Farm is seeking a Part-Time Flower Farm Hand to join our team for the seasonal bloom. Bloomed Life is a female-owned and operated startup and sister business to Utah Flower Farm, the largest rose farm in Utah. Our mission is to cultivate high-quality, locally grown roses and provide them to our store front, Bloomed Life, for sale to customers and florists.

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting with seasonal rose growing and maintenance
• Deadheading roses (main responsibility)
• Maintaining irrigation systems
• Watering roses by hand
• Hand harvesting flowers
• Post-harvest handling of flowers
• Weeding, pruning, and staking
• Lifting buckets of mulch and bales of hay to spread them in the fields (or remove them from fields)
• Operating small-scale farm equipment
• Practicing excellent bucket maintenance of cut flowers, excellent upkeep of your cubby and workspace, and farm equipment
• Keeping the barn clean and organized
• Driving a van and/or golf cart

Position Details

The part-time position offers a flexible schedule, with 1-2 days per week, and hourly pay of $14. The season begins in May and ends in October, with shifts ideally from 6:30am to 3pm. Both week and weekend shifts are available. Must be able to commute to the farm location.
