Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Ray Robinson Heating & Air. As one of the leading companies in the HVAC industry, we provide high-quality and reliable services to our customers.
As a HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial properties. You will also be required to understand and follow safety procedures and guidelines related to HVAC systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular maintenance and inspection of HVAC units to ensure their optimal performance.
- Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions and breakdowns in HVAC systems.
- Installing and replacing heating and cooling equipment such as ductwork, air conditioners, furnaces and thermostats.
- Maintaining accurate records of your work, including job orders, invoices, and service reports.
- Interacting with customers and providing exceptional service that exceeds their expectations.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest advances in HVAC technology and techniques.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from an HVAC training program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC service and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
