Job Title: Packager Pay Rate: $13/hr Olsten Staffing is partnering with a well-established company in the Florence/Darlington area to find a dedicated Packager. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you! Job Description: The Packager is essential to the finishing process. This role involves using hand tools to clean and package products, ensuring they meet required specifications before shipping. The ideal candidate will leverage past project knowledge to solve problems, assist others, and train new employees effectively. Primary Job Responsibilities: Properly use basic hand tools for cleaning and packaging products. Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders accurately. Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area. Work overtime as necessary and with short notice. Adapt to working in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors. Work in a facility that is not temperature-controlled (exposed to heat and cold). Perform other duties as assigned by management. Environment & Working Conditions: Ability to work in all weather conditions, as required by the job. Facility is not heated in winter nor cooled in summer. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work scheduled shifts. Capability to bend, stoop, sit, grasp, walk, twist, and stand for up to 12 hours per day, up to six days a week. Must be able to work at heights exceeding 6 feet as required. Flexibility to work overtime on short notice. Skills/Qualifications Required: Punctual and reliable. Ability to accurately read a tape measure in one-inch increments. Strong communication skills. Experience with basic hand tools (e.g., grinder, drill). Forklift experience is preferred. Why Join Us?
