Job Description: HVAC Installer
Ferrara's Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Installer to join our team in Lufkin, Texas. As an HVAC Installer, you will work with our team to install and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial and residential settings.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing new HVAC systems and related components, such as ductwork, thermostats, and electrical wiring.
- Troubleshooting and repairing existing HVAC systems.
- Conducting regular maintenance activities, such as cleaning and changing filters.
- Ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Communicating effectively with customers and team members to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
