Works independently and communicates well with other departments (verbally/written/computer) to move work through the system in an organized fashion. Works independently within a team, communicates well with other departments and organizations, as required, and performs any duties assigned to best serve the company. Starting Rate: $16.25 per hour We are looking for seasonal help over the next three months. Schedule: 1st Shift - Sunday - Thursday // 4 am-12:30 pm 2nd Shift - Monday - Friday // 12 pm-8:30 pm Major Functional Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently pick and pack products according to established standards using a picking headset. Run scanning equipment. Pack orders according to the customer’s requirements and/or the provided specifications. Meet established productivity standards and quality standards. Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear. Self-identifies mistakes, identifies problems and recommends solutions, provides candid and timely feedback to all levels in the organization, involves others in problem-solving when needed, and sees all responsibilities through to successful completion. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience / Experience working with RF Scanners Ability to do basic math and follow instructions Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position. Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift Able to lift, stack, and pull products off shelves, as well as replenish products, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check Must be able to read and understand the English language Division: VISTAR Job Category: Warehouse Preferred Qualifications: • 1+ years of warehouse and distribution work experience, 6+ months of experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack • Foodservice distribution or related industry experience • Forklift and or Pallet Jack Experience • Able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
