Market price: $1,200 USDEst.

Position: Adult Day Program Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Adult Day Program Assistant at Landis Homes. This position plays a vital role in assisting our Adult Day Program participants and ensuring their well-being.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and implementing engaging activities for Adult Day Program participants.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for program participants.
  • Provide personal care and assistance to participants as needed.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving.
  • Monitor and report any changes in participants' physical or mental well-being.
  • Collaborate with the program team to develop and update individual care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of participants' activities and progress.
  • Support participants in maintaining their independence and maximizing their abilities.
  • Promote social interaction and a sense of community among program participants.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with older adults or individuals with special needs is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of personal care and meal preparation.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of program participants.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
