As an HVAC Service Technician at Stier Heating & Cooling Inc, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the comfort and safety of our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of HVAC systems to accurately identify issues and provide effective solutions.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on a variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers.
- Install new HVAC systems and components, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers to deliver exceptional service and address any concerns or questions.
- Complete all necessary documentation and maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC technician training program preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with expertise in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks when necessary.
