Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall management of our nursing home, including financial performance, resident care, staffing, and facility operations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the quality of care and services provided, continuously seeking ways to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to establish and maintain effective communication channels, fostering a positive and cohesive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and local, state, and federal laws, proactively identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a skilled and compassionate staff, promoting a culture of professional growth, empathy, and excellence in care delivery.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and the community, listening to feedback and addressing concerns promptly and compassionately.
- Develop and manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and drive revenue growth through effective marketing strategies and community partnerships.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, advances in healthcare technology, and changes in regulations, spearheading initiatives to adapt and innovate.
Qualifications:
- Valid Administrator's license or certification as required by the state of Texas.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to achieving results.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a team, fostering a culture of teamwork, integrity, and accountability.
- Knowledge of financial management principles and experience developing and managing budgets.
