Licensed Practical Nurse​/LPN Charge Nurse

Elkins Crest Health & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Charge Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and overseeing the nursing staff on your assigned shift. Responsibilities:

- Deliver compassionate and competent nursing care to residents

- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed

- Assist with the development and implementation of care plans

- Supervise and direct the work of nursing assistants and aides

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal resident care

- Document residents' progress and maintain accurate medical records

- Provide support and education to residents and their families

Qualifications:

- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

- CPR certification

- Prior experience in long-term care is preferred

- Strong clinical and assessment skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Proficient in using electronic medical records and documentation systems
