Job Description:
As an HVAC Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers enjoy a comfortable living environment. We're looking for someone with technical expertise, attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities include:
- Install HVAC units (Heat pump, A/C, gas furnace, air handler)
- Measure, cut and connect refrigerant lines, electrical wires, and ducts as needed
- Ensure that installations meet all necessary regulatory code requirements
- Accomplish tasks within a timely and efficient manner while upholding safety standards
- Perform start-up and quality checks on installed units
- Interact professionally and respectfully with customers, providing clear and concise information as needed
- Ability to install equipment in attics, crawl spaces, and high rooftops
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatch, the office, and management for all service and installation appointments
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an HVAC installer
- Certification or degree in HVAC or closely related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and evenings as needed
