Job Description
We are seeking accomplished, dedicated Cloud Architects, who have a combination of design skills, performance tuning/solving around WebLogic Clusters in OCI with executive communication skills.
If you have these skills and have been part of large enterprise class software product teams, have worked on deployment of services deployed on popular Cloud platforms like OCI, AWS or Azure then this position is a fit for you.
The ideal candidate is expected to be the technical face on customer calls/critical issues and should possess SME technical skills in Applications and Database domain along with strong convincing and negotiation skills. The successful candidate is a self-motivated, progressive software professional with minimum 15 years of validated experience and can resolve sophisticated problems without supervision.
You have had prior experience architecting large scale Oracle systems, preferably in OCI or Other cloud platforms. The candidate must have experience or working knowledge with a wide range of Oracle products and technologies, including SAAS products, Oracle Fusion Middleware products, Database products and OCI. You will create solutions for complex customers using the powerful Oracle products.Leading and motivating complex Oracle teams to deliver value to our large Customers is a critical success factor.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Architect solutions in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to solve complex customer problems.
Influence the design, capacity planning tuning and the actual build out and operation of customer solutions using Oracle technologies such as WebLogic Mid-Tiers and Exadata DB instances on Oracle Cloud infrastructure including OCI Storage and Network.
Engage with customers at executive and architect level for any prioritysituations and react/respond timely manner.
Leverage Oracle Cloud Observability and Management technology to create cloud monitoring solution for our customers, providing insights and building of dashboards.
Play a key role in the design of HA/DR solutions around OCI cloud service.
Lead technical specialists across complex Oracle organizations to create scalable and reliable solutions for key customers.
Effectively communicate deep technical solutions with customer executives and internal stake holders
Get involved in Performance, Scalability and Reliability Analysis and database query tuning
Work with architects and development managers across Oracle productteams in requirements specification definition and detailed engineeringanalysis from data requirements perspective
Create and improve current service deployment infrastructure using automation and the latest cloud capabilities to improve agility, reliability, and observability.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, Math or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area
Minimum 10 years in Architecting solutions for large enterprise systems in cloud.
Minimum 10 years working experience in wide range of Oracle products and technologies, including SAAS products (ERP, WMS, HCM, and others), Oracle Fusion Middleware products, Weblogic, Database products.
Working experience of cloud technology, preferably with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Knowledge and experience in using cloud deployment tools like Ansible, Terraform
Experience working on complex software development/integration projects
Full life-cycle product development experience
Experience in Java and SQL Programming
Experience in Unix/Linux Shell, Perl, Ansible and Python scripting
Strong technical background in cloud networking, storage, and security
Strong written and verbal communication skill, at both deep technical and executive level
Software development experience is highly desirable.

US: Hiring Range: from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
