Job Description
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated PCA Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Country Terrace. As a PCA Personal Care Assistant, you will play a key role in providing essential daily care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
- Prior experience in a healthcare or senior living setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Compassion and empathy for elderly individuals
