Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
At Lex Air Conditioning and Heating, we are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Carrollton, Texas. As a part of our company, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing high-quality heating and cooling services to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems
- Test the performance of HVAC systems using specialized tools
- Recommend upgrades or replacements for HVAC systems, when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients and answering their questions
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of HVAC training program or apprenticeship
- Valid HVAC certification and licensure
- At least two years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and their operation
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
