Job Description
Tiffany & Co. is looking for an experienced Gemologist to join our renowned team of experts. As the leader in luxury jewelry design, our team of Gemologists is responsible for authenticating, evaluating, and grading diamonds, gems, and other precious stones. We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about the art of jewelry design.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a degree in Gemology or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the gemstone industry. They should have a thorough understanding of gemstone qualities and characteristics, and be able to identify and grade stones with precision. They should also have exceptional customer service and communication skills, as they will be responsible for providing guidance and education to our customers on gemstones. Previous experience with diamond certification, gemstone appraisal, and CAD design is a plus.
