Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Haywood Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a highly motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Waynesville, North Carolina. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional mechanical services to our customers through the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment in residential and commercial settings.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions and recommend solutions
- Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
- Accurately document work performed and parts used
- Provide exceptional customer service and establish positive relationships with customers
- Participate in on-call rotation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- EPA certification required
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance and repairs
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
