We are seeking a highly motivated HVAC Installer to join our team at H K Schmidt Plumbing in Hudson, New York. As an experienced HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with clients to determine their HVAC needs and requirements.
• Measure and calculate HVAC system components and specifications, including refrigerant levels and electrical wiring.
• Ensure all equipment and systems are installed, serviced and repaired in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Provide professional advice and guidance to clients regarding their HVAC systems in order to enhance their energy efficiency.
• Ensure the highest standard of safety on all job sites and report any health and safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Strong technical and analytical skills to diagnose HVAC problems and provide effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete work on time and according to customer requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to perform work at heights, in confined spaces and crawl spaces, and in extreme weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
