MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR

Summary You will serve as a MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR in the Assistant Chief of Staff, Logistics, Southwest Regional Fleet Transportation Division, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), 29 Palms Site, Operation Section of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON. Responsibilities You will load/unload, and verify that cargo is correctly distributed, secured, or marked (e.g., flags, placards, reflection tape/lights) to prevent damage or loss during transit. You will keep trip records and logs showing all pertinent information relative to operation of vehicle and delivery of materials. You will clean and perform operational maintenance of assigned vehicles. You will perform inspections on assigned vehicles. You will operate truck tractors with semi-trailers coupled by use of a fifth wheel, equipped with air brake connections between the truck tractor and semi-trailer.
