Job Description: HVAC Installer
Sam Hewitt Services is currently seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our growing team in Columbus, Georgia. Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, in residential and commercial settings
- Assess project requirements, read blueprints, and determine the appropriate installation procedures
- Perform necessary calculations and measurements to ensure a proper fit and alignment of equipment
- Ensure that all installed HVAC systems are in compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise instructions for system operation and maintenance
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation
- Experience with a variety of HVAC brands and systems preferred
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
