Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Sheren Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, a leading HVAC company in Petoskey Michigan, is seeking a qualified HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Service Technician at our company, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, while servicing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems for our commercial and residential clients.
Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential and commercial clients
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC systems to identify issues and recommend solutions
• Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate at peak performance
• Install and connect HVAC system components, including thermostats, ducts, and air handlers
• Provide recommendations on needed repairs and upgrades to improve HVAC system efficiency
• Ensure job sites are clean and safe, and that work is performed in compliance with all safety regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate service records and complete required paperwork promptly
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• Certification in HVAC installation, repair and service preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnosis, and repair necessary
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
