Division Description


Cosma Castings Michigan (CCMI)- a division of Magna International- is located in Battle Creek, Michigan. We are a casting and assembly facility that manufactures automotive body components for GM, Ford, FCA, Honda, and other aftermarket customers. We operate a 300,000-square-foot facility with approximately 500 employees. Summary of Responsibilities


CNC Set Up Techs program and troubleshoot CNC equipment to produce precision metal parts. CNC Set Up Techs set up machines, write and test programs, make adjustments as needed, and are responsible for the quality of the product produced by the CNC Machines. CNC Set Up Techs must be strong multi-taskers who can work through assigned priorities while responding to emergency calls to resolve issues. Employees must be able to work overtime and weekends, as needed.


Key Qualifications/Requirements




High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required


Certificate or minimum 4 years’ experience required


Previous experience in operation of machining and assembly equipment a plus


Knowledge and experience with setting up and maintaining CNC machines.


Knowledge and experience with Siemens controls


Knowledge and experience with Fanuc robots


Basic electrical skills


Basic knowledge of hydraulics systems


Ability to read Siemens operator panels to run equipment and troubleshoot as needed.


Ability to work flexible hours and overtime to be available to all shifts


Ability to read blueprints


Ability to use standard hand and measuring tools


Ability to follow and understand written instructions


Ability to read layout data, gauges and dedicated measuring equipment

JOB SUMMARY


The Production Team Lead is a self-directed leader responsible for supporting and prioritizing the activities of their assigned manufacturing team, including temporary employees, to ensure production meets customer expectations in cost, quality, and delivery. They maintain a safe work environment and actively participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts aligned with the MAFACT Production System. The Team Lead is accountable to the Shift Supervisor for achieving production targets, managing labor efficiency, and maintaining high operational standards within their designated cells.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:


·Safety/5S- Corrects or commends health and safety performance in work area and takes immediate action to correct unsafe conditions or actions. Ensures employees appropriate training for recognizing hazards associated and specific to their job. Completes safety inspections on a routine basis and ensures compliance with all Health and Safety as well as ISO14001 policies and procedures.


·Quality- Makes quality-controlled decisions based on established quality standards and checks.  Identifies opportunities for common mistake proofing. Understands quality control plans. Accurately tracks and measures defects. Ensures staff is following and maintaining standardized work.


·Communication- Effectively communicates performance in all aspects of the business including, but not limited to Policy, Safety, Quality, Productivity and General Communications, during pre-shift meetings and team meetings.


·Staffing- Responsible for training of personnel to meet “takt time”, off-line training and relief schedules.


·HR/Training- Development of employees using Training Within Industry and training matrices.  Presents new information to large and small groups.  Administers and applies company policy consistently and fairly.  Has the ability to discipline employees when in need. Responsible for maintaining and developing team morale.


·Improvements- Leads teams through problem solving process, documents issues and identifies solutions that prevent recurrence. About the Role


Responsible for follow-up of welding mechanical systems designs for a variety of assembly applications including welders, robots, conveyance, and transfer systems. Applies industry knowledge and experience to manage projects from the quoting phase through commissioning and production. Utilizes planning, resource and task management skills in directing vendors to successful implementation of projects. Can delegate and manage multiple projects at any given time. Is capable of making autonomous decisions based on experience and project requirements; has specialized training either formal or through on-the-job work experience. Responsible to drive and understand customer specifications, both corporate and plant, and applies LMV standards for use in all aspects of mechanical designs.

About the Role

In general, ensure the achievement of departmental OEE targets through the achievement of equipment availability targets.


Additional task may include but will not be limited to:




Adjust & repair automotive manufacturing equipment, repairs and  services, and test equipment using hand tools and power tools.


Disassemble defective equipment as well as replaces defective parts, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, etc.


Reassemble, adjust and test repaired equipment. Equipment testing includes the ability of the maintenance associate to operate the machine during non production hours, producing quality parts to ensure machine functionality.


May specialize in repairing specific manufacturing equipment, and equipment that is not specific to the manufacturing process.


Troubleshooting and modification to maintain uptime, make modifications to improve efficiency and reliability of equipment and its systems. Oversee modifications by internal and external resources for process changes, new models and expansion.




Who we are looking for




Technical Associates Degree preferred or equivalent automated manufacturing experience required.  Technical knowledge will be demonstrated through a technical assessment prior to hire, lateral move, or promotion.

Essential Functions of the Position


1)  Follow and comply with all operational/procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs

Purpose of Position:


The Facilities Maintenance Team within the Maintenance Department is fully responsible for the upkeep of the entire building, its related equipment (including but not limited to: compressors; chillers; HVAC; sub-stations; etc) and the surrounding grounds.  The Facilities Maintenance Team supports installation and modifications as directed from time to time.


The Facilities Maintenance Team is responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of all buildings, grounds, utility systems, and industrial wastewater plant at the Kamtek Casting campus. In addition, it provides many services as required to support production and non-production departments.


Responsibilities:


Responsible for assisting in maintaining all aspects of equipment throughout the Facility Maintenance Teams area of responsibility.  The Utility employee will perform a variety of maintenance activities such as repairs on buildings, grounds and equipment, preventive maintenance and the upkeep of themselves. Responsible to ensure that all Customer, People, and Investor goals are balanced and met for the assigned duties and responsibilities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

About the Role


Under the direction of the paint supervisor, the paint maintenance technician provides corrective and preventative maintenance on the paint application fluid delivery equipment in an effort to increase uptime and efficiency.


Your Responsibilities




Performs preventative maintenance on paint application equipment to prevent unscheduled downtime.


Takes appropriate corrective action to keep paint production operating at its fullest capacity.


Troubleshoots and repairs fluid delivery equipment as needed or required.  Maintains E-Coat System and repairs equipment as needed.


Performs daily startup and shutdown of paint system.


Performs calibration and operational checks on paint application equipment. Conduct required daily, or other periodic, environmental inspections.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for participating in the development and maintenance of APQP, PPAP, and ISO/TS 16949 documentation. The position holder participates in the preparation and maintenance of process inspection instructions, reports, and quality alerts.

Ensure that customer requirements are incorporated into product functional specifications and lead risk and failure analysis (PFEMA) to ensure functional specification requirements are fully met during process/design validation with suppliers.

About the Role


Assurer la qualité des produits d'achats et de sous-traitance des matériaux de production depuis la phase de projet ou de transfert jusqu'à et pendant la fabrication des pièces en conditions définitives.


Your Responsibilities




Assister aux réunions quotidiennes de FFA, FFI et Dept. SQA.


Etablir des communications quotidiennes avec les fournisseurs pour assurer le suivi des problèmes, des nouvelles alertes etc...par téléphone, conf.call, réunions, etc...


Analyser les pièces rejetées par les fournisseurs dans la zone de rejet.


Suivre de la sélection des composantes lorsque cela est nécéssaire.


Analyse des nouvelles pièces d'incidence et leur gestion avec le fournisseur.


Lancer et diriger des réunions internes pour traiter des rapports d'incidents des fournisseurs.


Participer aux réunions de la réunion du matin /QRQC comme suppléant.


Réalisation et gestion des réceptions en série.


Création d'incidents sur le portail QPF du groupe.


Définition du DVP pour les modifications CR/CN


Base de données CR/CN et Selon la fiche d'opérations standard




Who we are looking for




Formation réglementée          : 
Bac+5 Technique


Formation utile                       : 
8D


Expérience professionnelle    
: 5 ans
 (min. 2 ans dans le département qualité ou produit) de




Préférence dans un département SQA du secteur automobile.




Langues                                  : Français & Anglais & Espagnole


Connaissance techniques        : Connaissance de la gestion de la qualité et de la gestion des processus




Qualification en tant qu'auditeur
